Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN2-8) to join our team at Justice Health NSW.
As a RN2-8, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Mid North Coast Correctional Centre.
You will perform reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing management, and work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
The successful candidate will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), at least one full year of nursing experience, and the ability to work shifts across the sectors of Mid North Coast Correctional Centre.
This is a targeted Aboriginal position, and preference will be given to applicants of Aboriginal descent. Exemption is claimed under Section 21 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
