About the role
Following continued national growth, an opportunity has opened for a driven Electrical and Telecommunications Estimator to join our high-performing team. This full-time role is based in our Notting Hill office, with the flexibility to work on site and from home.
As a key contributor to our operational success, you'll prepare accurate, competitive estimates for major data and electrical infrastructure projects, develop clear scopes, analyse risk, and support our teams in securing and delivering profitable work. With Alliance SI expanding its footprint in complex infrastructure environments, you'll play a vital role in elevating our tendering capability, strengthening our market position, and shaping the quality of opportunities we pursue.

In this role, you will
* Prepare accurate take-offs, BOQs and detailed cost estimates for electrical and telecommunications projects.
* Review tender drawings, specifications and client requirements to develop clear, comprehensive scopes of work.
* Source, analyse and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing to support competitive, high-quality tender submissions.
* Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers and Program Managers to align estimates with delivery expectations and project constraints.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by refining estimating templates, maintaining up-to-date catalogues, and supporting best-practice processes.
About you
* You bring proven estimating experience across electrical, data or telecommunications projects, supported by strong technical capability.
* You apply a meticulous, methodical approach to pricing, documentation and communication, ensuring clarity and accuracy in every submission.
* You're comfortable working across multiple tenders at once, staying organised and steady under shifting timeframes and project demands.
* You understand the commercial levers that influence competitive pricing, from materials and labour to supplier negotiations and project risk.
* You enjoy problem-solving, analysing cost data, and finding ways to improve both competitiveness and consistency in the estimating process
* You're a collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships and contributes positively to continuous improvement and shared success.
