We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team, working with our high performing Year Two, Three and Four students.This is a temporary position, offering a wonderful opportunity to deliver high-quality extension programs that challenge and inspire our most capable learners. Here at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Pinjarra, we place a strong emphasis on our school vision ‘every child is known’.
We are a dynamic, single stream, Catholic co-educational primary school catering for approximately 240 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six.
Inspired by the legacy of the Sisters of St Joseph and St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, our school is built on a foundation of nurturing each child spiritually, academically, socially and physically. We enjoy a close partnership with our parish and strong support from our parent community.
Selection Criteria:
-Promotes the Catholic faith, education and ethos of the school
-Demonstrates success in using strategies that achieve measurable growth and excellence for high-achieving students, supported by evidence of improved outcomes in standardised assessments
-Ability to analyse assessment data to identify high-achieving students and design targeted extension opportunities
-Ability to collaborate with teachers to embed differentiation and challenge, ensuring high-achieving students are consistently engaged and extended.
Qualifications Required:
- Registered with the Teacher Registration Board of WA
- Relevant 4 year tertiary qualification
- Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school or working towards
