Analyse variances against budget, forecast, and prior year, providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Lead cost centre reviews with executives and department heads, advising on cost control strategies and identifying efficiency opportunities.
Support the annual budgeting process and monthly re forecasting, collaborating with cost centre managers and the operations team.
Prepare accruals, general journals, and financial commentary for inclusion in executive summaries and board reporting.
Contribute to the development of financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, data integrity, and system enhancements.
Act as a key finance contact for group cost management, building strong relationships across the business.
The Successful Applicant A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA/CPA qualification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the retail industry.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Confident, ambitious, and eager to grow within the business.
