Connection, Strength and Recovery (CSR)
The Connection Strength and Recovery (CSR) program is a pilot program linked to the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022- 2032. In line with National Partnership goals, the program objective is to consult, codesign and implement as appropriate, a model of recovery support that meets individual and community needs.
THE ROLE
The Case Manager will work with victim-survivors through the provision of specialised therapeutic interventions including 1:1 brief intervention case management, DFV educational support groups The position is required to review risk assessments and safety planning with clients, and provide brief case management interventions whilst facilitating sustainable community connections and supports for clients. In addition the position will participate in relevant community development activities in the Eastern and Western regions of metropolitan Adelaide as directed.
You will work with the other initiative partners to identify gaps and ensure streamlined access to recovery supports across the state.
We are looking to recruit a case manager on a full time basis.
About You
To be considered for this position you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience working with DFSV victim -survivors (adults and children) in a case management or therapeutic capacity. Other key requirement include:
* A Degree level qualification in Social Work is essential with full eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of therapeutic educative based group programs to build individual capacity and promote recovery from the effects of violence and trauma
* Excellent knowledge of theoretical approaches and practice foundations applicable when working with people experiencing domestic and family violence.
* A strong understanding of risk assessment and safety management in the context of DFV.
* Knowledge of community co-design principles and strong ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and community leaders.
* A current full drivers licence, and be eligible for, or hold a DHS Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
