In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values. You will play a crucial role in resident's overall wellbeing.

Your primary functions will include:
\

1. Personal Care: Assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
\
2. Mobility support: Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
\
3. Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
\
4. Meal Assist: Supporting residents with their dietary requirements ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
\
5. Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition.
\
6. Collaboration: Working closely with healthcare professionals, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

7. Continuous improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of care and services delivered.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

8. Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
\
9. Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
\
10. Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.

11. Friendly and effective communication abilities.
\
12. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
