The Role
Join a large QLD Government Department, as a Maintenance Support Officer, where you will provide support to customers, in a high-volume inbound call centre role. You will build relationships with customers and contractors, whilst arranging for responsive maintenance for government owned housing properties.
Your duties will include:
* Arranging responsive maintenance for Government Housing Properties
* Answering or making customer calls to address their maintenance needs.
* Engaging with callers to confirm or clarify information and calming angry customers, as needed.
* Appropriately using software, databases, scripts, and tools
* Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call centre metrics.
* Providing consistent customer service
You
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months call centre experience and will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Proven experience in a call centre/high-volume customer service environment
* Insurance repair or property maintenance experience is highly regarded, however not essential
* Problem-solving and de-escalation skills
* Exceptional customer service, active listening and verbal and written communication skills
* Strong time management and decision-making ability
* Microsoft Office Skills in Excel, Word and Teams
