About the Role: Join the Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) as a Communications Advisor and play a key role in delivering high-quality communications that support our transformation and day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you'll work across Communications, Media, Marketing, and Digital teams to produce clear, engaging content for internal and external audiences. What we are looking for: Experience in a similar communications role, ideally within government or a regulatory body Excellent writing with strong attention to detail Ability to tailor content for diverse audiences and platforms Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills to build relationships Ability to manage competing priorities & deliver to deadlines Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism or a related discipline (mandatory) For a detailed overview of responsibilities, please refer to the attached position description. About the BPC The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing. It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation. Services & functions including registration, inspection & compliance, practitioner discipline & prosecution, dispute resolution & domestic building insurance are now part of the BPC & will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
