As we expand into exciting new projects and tenders, we're looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to join our team and help drive success. This senior technical role offers an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects that challenge conventional thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead structural engineering activities across multiple projects and tenders, performing advanced calculations, design verifications, and proposing innovative schemes for efficient construction.
* Review structural drawings from designers and suppliers, ensure compliance with specifications and standards, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with clients and suppliers to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements:
* Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Chartered Engineer with RPEQ registration
* Proven experience in structural steel design, transportable building design, offshore structures, and blast design
* Hands-on proficiency with SpaceGass, StaadPro, and Strand7 software
* Strong track record of managing projects from tender through completion, including coordination with suppliers and clients
* Deep understanding of local building codes and standards, with knowledge of international, offshore, and blast design standards preferred
