About the role
Tetris Group is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team in Redland Bay, QLD. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance to support our production goals.
What you'll be doing
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and equipment
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions
* Perform routine inspections, servicing and repairs to keep equipment running smoothly
* Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maintain high levels of operational efficiency
* Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken and regularly report on equipment performance
* Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent
* Extensive experience (5+ years) working as a Boilermaker in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and rectify mechanical issues
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools and workshop equipment
* Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices
