Role: Specialist Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology
About the Role

As a Specialist Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology professional, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality rehabilitation and assistive technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support to facilitate the delivery of rehabilitation and assistive technology for participants.
* Assess participant needs in relation to rehabilitation and assistive technology and provide expert internal advice, guidance, and options to maximise participant outcomes.
* Monitor participants' rehabilitation and assistive technology in collaboration with internal stakeholders to facilitate high-quality services and participant independence.
* Lead and support NIISQ Agency team members in decision-making by providing expert technical guidance, coaching, and peer supervision.
* Liaise with and provide guidance and education about the Scheme to rehabilitation and assistive technology providers.

* Extensive knowledge and understanding of best practice rehabilitation and assistive technology relevant to the needs of participants
* Demonstrated understanding of rehabilitation and assistive technology services and health and disability sectors relevant to the NIISQ.
* Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-management skills, with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated proficiency in coaching, training, and building capability in stakeholders.
