About the Role
Flinders Motel Wollongong is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to provide guest services and reception support. This role is casual, primarily covering Saturdays and Sundays, as well as additional hours during the week. You'll step in to support our existing team by covering rostered days off and occasional leave. The role will be roughly 10-15 hours per week.

* Handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently in a busy environment
* Managing phone and email inquiries while assisting guests at the desk
* Resolving guest concerns with a solutions-focused mindset
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate booking records
* Multitasking in a high-pressure setting—think: multiple check-ins, guest requests, ringing phones, and a full inbox
Who We're Looking For
We need someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments. Previous experience in a front desk role is essential with the ability to commence as soon as possible. We are on the lookout for an individual who is able to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and deliver outstanding customer services. In addition to this, a forward-thinker who is able to work independently, capable of making decisions without the need to be constantly monitored.
Pay Rates (Hospitality Award – Level 3, Front Office Grade 2)
* Weekdays: $33.38 per hour (higher rates for evenings/nights)
* Saturday: $40.05 per hour
* Sunday: $46.73 per hour
