Mining Vertical Business Development Manager – Surveillance and Security
Dahua Technology Australia and New Zealand is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Mining Vertical Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive business growth and foster strategic partnerships within the mining sector.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth within the mining vertical.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including decision‐makers and influencers within the mining sector, to understand their needs and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, partners, and industry associations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address the unique challenges and opportunities within the mining sector.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the mining industry.
- Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase Dahua Technology's solutions and capabilities to prospective clients.
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities to generate leads and increase brand awareness within the mining vertical.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and key achievements within the mining vertical.
- Represent Dahua Technology at industry events, conferences, and seminars to network with potential clients and partners and promote our solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets within the mining sector.
- Strong understanding of the mining industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Experience working with technology solutions, preferably in the security or surveillance industry.
- Self‐motivated and results‐oriented, with a proactive approach to problem‐solving and decision‐making.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‐paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as required within Australia and New Zealand.
