Contract Site Manager – Heritage Remediation Project Location: Newcastle, NSW Contract: 12-month contract Rate: Competitive day rate (ABN) An experienced Contract Site Manager is required for a 12-month heritage remediation project based in Newcastle. This is a hands-on role managing a live remediation environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and stakeholder coordination. The Project Heritage-listed remediation works Structural and building fabric repairs Working closely with consultants, trades, and heritage stakeholders Live and sensitive environment requiring a high level of detail and care Key Responsibilities Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to heritage standards Liaise with consultants, engineers, and heritage advisors Manage site documentation, permits, and compliance requirements Oversee quality control and defect management Maintain strong communication with the project team and client Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Site Manager on remediation or heritage projects Strong understanding of heritage construction methods and constraints Excellent knowledge of WHS and site compliance Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Trade or construction management background preferred What’s On Offer 12-month contract on a high-profile heritage project Newcastle-based role with long-term stability Competitive day rate Well-supported project team and established builder To apply: Please apply below or call Sam Cooper on 0422 118 933 to discuss the role in more detail.
