We are seeking a skilled professional to manage harvested crop and stockfeed within our agricultural processing site. The successful candidate will play a key role in operating equipment, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate equipment: Safely operate a wheeled loader to move harvested pyrethrum crop and stockfeed within the Crop Shed.
* Coordinate deliveries: Safely coordinate bulk deliveries with Weighbridge Operators, following intake procedures and safety protocols.
* Maintain equipment: Assist with cleaning, limited repairs, and maintenance of plant and equipment as directed by your supervisor.
* Routine maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on the wheeled loader and advise of fuel needs or major repair requirements.
* Workplace maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy workspace to minimise dust exposure, fire risk, and contamination.
* Assist with weighbridge operation: Assist with weighbridge operation and loading of trucks as required.
* Quality logbook tasks: Complete quality logbook tasks and maintain accurate records.
* Safety and hygiene: Use and maintain PPE appropriately, and uphold high personal hygiene standards.
* Reporting incidents: Report safety observations, near misses, and incidents to your supervisor.
