Job Description
As a Project Manager in our Water Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering water infrastructure projects including water treatment facilities and pipeline networks. You will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental guidelines.
The successful candidate will have experience managing end-to-end delivery of water treatment and distribution projects, coordinating with engineering teams, contractors, and government stakeholders. They will also develop and monitor project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of water treatment and distribution projects from conception to completion
* Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and government stakeholders to ensure project success
* Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet project objectives
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental guidelines throughout the project lifecycle
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on water infrastructure
* Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and pipeline systems
* Familiarity with Australian water regulations and environmental standards
* Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
