Emergency Medicine Leadership Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing Emergency Department through a period of transformation and growth. The successful candidate will have a 50% clinical load and will be responsible for providing professional leadership and clinical governance, strategic direction for service development, innovation, and patient flow, mentorship and guidance to a skilled multidisciplinary ED team.
About the Role:
The Emergency Department serves as a regional trauma and referral centre, managing complex trauma from various incidents. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a stunning coastal location with access to quality public and private schools, nearby national parks, and regular services to Melbourne.
About You:
* You must be an experienced emergency physician and proven leader with a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Physicians (FACEM) and AHPRA registration.
* A strong commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care is essential, as well as demonstrated ability to inspire and lead clinical teams.
* Strategic thinking with a passion for continuous improvement and outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
