The Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG) is the leading national group that specialises in establishing investigator-initiated clinical trials for patients with a haematological (blood) cancer. The successful candidate seeking to become an expert in their field and will be responsible for the development, implementation, activation and management activities of an allocated ALLG multisite platform trials. The position will be part of a team dedicated to research excellence in a progressive clinical trial setting. Engage with national and international peers to ensure diversity in clinical trials as part of ALLG's program strategy to advance access to better treatments for those with blood cancer.
Essential Criteria:
* Significant, highly competent, clinical trial management experience with strong ability to plan forward
* Demonstrated understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory, ethical, privacy and other relevant guidelines
* Tertiary qualification in a health or science field
* Understanding of medical terminology, ideally oncology, haematology
* Experience preparing and co-ordinating documentation required to acquire and maintain HREC and RGO approvals for multi-site clinical trials
* Experience developing and maintaining resources and tools to support assigned clinical trials
* Personal confidence and demonstrated ability to liaise with professionals from a variety of backgrounds
* High attention to detail
* Excellent organizational skills including the ability to establish and work within timelines
* Ability to interpret and manage complex clinical data, including data cleaning
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Able to work independently and as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable experience in
* Multi-site/ platform clinical trials
* Experience in site activations
* eDC systems – data cleaning
* Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) preparation and application of SOP's in daily trial conduct
* Ability to review processes and suggest improvements to enhance existing methods
