We’re looking for an agile Branch Manager to lead our team, drive sales and energise the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Occasional travel annually
* Build relationships with customers
* Drive sales growth
* Lead, coach and mentor warehouse and sales staff
* Operational management of branch, including debtor control and stocktakes
* Manage effective stock control (FIFO) to minimise aged stock
* Ensure a positive customer experience, leading to new opportunities and repeat business
Qualifications
* Hold a current forklift licence or be willing to obtain one
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer relationship
* Sales‑driven mindset with a knack for hitting targets
* Able to lead and coach the branch team to excel
* Capable and competent with managing administrative tasks, sales reports and stocktakes
* Strong commercial abilities with financial discipline for efficient and profitable operation of the branch
* Values workplace safety and puts it first
* Able to build relationships with customers and team
* Well‑developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
* Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, including some repetitive lifting (25kg+)
