We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Professional to provide support with challenging behaviors. Our goal is to help individuals with disabilities become more independent in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop personal interests and provide personal care, transportation, and coach independent living skills.
* Administer and document medication and follow health support plans.
* Manage behavior triggers and escalation, ensuring the safety of you and the participant, documentation, and reports.
About You:
* Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disabilities.
* Experience working as a support professional in a challenging environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of behavior support plans.
Requirements:
* Certification in Disability or Individual Support is preferred.
* Availability to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights.
* NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check, Full Unrestricted Driver's license, First aid and CPR certificate.
