Plant Engineer for Manufacturing Operations
Job Summary:
* Seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical expertise to the maintenance and production departments, improving safety and quality of the manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engineering design upgrades, modifications, certification, and maintenance programs for plant equipment as per standards.
2. Develop and implement appropriate equipment maintenance strategies to ensure reliability of plant is continuously improved and lead root cause analysis for equipment failure.
3. Coordinate the maintenance of plant and equipment, and coordinate the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules.
4. Proactively analyze production and maintenance information to identify weaknesses in equipment and/or maintenance strategies to eliminate significant or repetitive breakdowns.
5. Develop and implement a positive culture of safe operating procedures and practices.
6. Lead and execute the engineering and maintenance department on allocated projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
* Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in Design/ Installations & making improvements to ensure a quality product is produced with high reliability.
* Previous experience working in Technical Services, Manufacturing, Mining, Gas or Conveyor products/service industries.
* Demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines within project delivery.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol test.
