Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Roads Infrastructure Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will oversee and manage third-party access to road, stormwater, cycling, and footpath infrastructure across the municipality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Roads Act, municipal infrastructure, and road authority responsibilities. You will be responsible for assessing and managing applications for road openings, footpath occupations, filming permits, hoardings, and other road reserve uses.
Your technical expertise will enable you to provide guidance and enforce conditions under the Roads Act (Section 138). You will monitor developer and contractor compliance, addressing non-conformance issues promptly.
You will facilitate implementation of Council initiatives such as Road Naming and Alcohol-Free Zones. Your organizational skills will allow you to maintain accurate records, support public liability investigations, and contribute to policy reviews.
You will deliver projects and programs on time and within budget, meeting quality, safety, environmental, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and manage applications for road openings, footpath occupations, filming permits, hoardings, and other road reserve uses.
* Provide technical guidance and enforce conditions under the Roads Act (Section 138).
* Monitor developer and contractor compliance, addressing non-conformance issues promptly.

Requirements:
* A strong understanding of the Roads Act, municipal infrastructure, and road authority responsibilities.
* Proven experience in managing access to and impacts on public infrastructure.
* A sound understanding of road restoration standards, vehicular crossings, hoardings, and mobility access.
* A current NSW Class C Driver's Licence.
