Our client, Coastal Ceilings, is seeking an experienced ceiling and wall tradesman to join our team. The position is longstanding and permanent. The position can be offered with or without a vehicle package. You will be working across the metro area in the new home sector enjoying the freedom this represents but also being part of a great team in one of Perth's oldest and most trusted names in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the installation, fixing, and finishing of drywall/plasterboard.
* Install wall and ceiling linings, including plasterboard and drywall as per plans and specifications
* Measure, cut, install and secure plasterboard/drywall.
* Set, flush, sand, and finish joints, screws using sealant/plaster to a high standard
* May work with cornices, ceiling moulds, decorative textures as per design or customer orders
* Ensure work complies with Australian Standards and safety requirements
* Work efficiently as part of a team and independently when required
* Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 3 years of Wall and Ceiling Fixer / Plasterer
* Certificate III in Plastering/Wall and Ceiling Lining or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of plasterboard fixing, setting, and finishing techniques
* Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* White Card (required)
* Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
