About the Company

Our client is a specialist piling and ground engineering contractor with a strong reputation across New South Wales and the ACT. Established over a decade ago, the business has grown rapidly by combining innovation, advanced drilling technology, and a highly skilled in-house engineering team. With a portfolio of landmark infrastructure and development projects, they are known for their collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to safety.

The Role

They are now seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at their busy workshop facility in Llandilo, NSW. This is a key role ensuring the company's fleet of piling rigs, pumps, excavators, and auxiliary equipment is maintained to the highest standard to support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily workshop operations, including servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
* Lead and mentor a team of workshop staff, creating a culture of accountability and safety.
* Oversee procurement of parts, consumables, and engagement with external service providers.
* Ensure plant and equipment compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
* Monitor plant utilisation, performance, and costs to support efficient project outcomes.
* Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and equipment reliability.

About You

* Previous experience as a Plant Manager, Workshop Manager, or similar role within piling, civil construction, or heavy equipment.
* Strong technical knowledge of piling rigs, hydraulic systems, pumps, and large construction plant.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a strong safety focus.
* Familiarity with equipment monitoring and diagnostic systems is an advantage.
