Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and monitor all logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
* Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
* Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transport partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
* Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to avoid shortages or overstocking.
* Optimize routes and shipment schedules to improve delivery timelines.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
* Track and analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare operational reports.
* Manage logistics team including supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse staff.
* Handle logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, or customer complaints.
* Implement technology and systems to streamline logistics operations.
