ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to fill the position of Director, Wellbeing and Rostering (SOGB), within Corporate Services.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination of staff wellbeing, injury reporting coordination and the management of the rostering team.
In addition, you will be responsible for the establishment and delivery of the ACTCS Wellbeing Program, including coordinating and connecting all ACTCS staff to initiatives, training and support that empowers ACTCS staff to make informed choices and take action to address and improve their health and wellbeing.
Further to this, the successful applicant is expected to contribute broadly to improving workplace safety, reducing workplace injuries, reducing absenteeism and addressing issues related to morale and culture.
To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership and management qualities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and compose complex workplace documents.

This position may require a pre-employment medical.
To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa.
If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.
Notes:
This is a temporary position available from 15 December 2025 until 15 March 2026 with the possibility of extension up to six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, adaptable start, and finish times.
