About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Qualified Baker / Pastry Chef to join our team on a full-time relief basis for approximately 3–4 months. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can step into a busy bakery environment and maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods
* Follow established recipes and production schedules
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Assist with daily bakery operations including preparation, baking, and cleaning
* Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production deadlines
Requirements
* Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience working as a baker or pastry chef in a commercial bakery or similar environment
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and pastry production
* Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends if required
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
