About the role
We’re looking for passionate Crèche Assistants to join our wonderful team! We have multiple creche roles available with flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and Saturdays.
Engage with children aged 12 weeks to 8 years by providing high quality supervision in a safe and fun environment at the Cannington and Riverton Leisureplex Crèche facilities.

What you’ll be doing in these roles
Creche staff are responsible for engaging children in a safe and fun environment, supporting daily routines and activities, and assisting with the overall operation of the creche.
- Providing quality supervision of children aged 12 weeks through to 8 years
- Ensure all children are registered by a parent/guardian on arrival
- Assist children with creative activities, games, and eating and drinking
- Attend to children’s toiletry needs including changing of nappies, as required
- Ensure the crèche office, toilets and facilities are clean and orderly, and all toys and play equipment are sanitised regularly
- Working morning shifts from 8:15 to 1pm, or afternoon shifts from 3pm to 7:15pm, with the possibility of Saturday shifts
Applicants must be available to work across both Riverton & Cannington Leisureplexes.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for team members with a positive attitude, who are enthusiastic and reliable, and passionate about working with children, with a commitment to creating safe and engaging environments for children under our supervision.
You will also have:
- Previous experience working in a children’s crèche or childcare centre (preferred)
- Current Working with Children Check (your application must include your WWC number)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current “C” class driver’s licence
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work 2-3 shifts per week ideally, in line with the shift times above
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) is desirable
- Satisfactory National Police Clerance (within 6 months validity)
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their development in a safe and engaging environment.
