About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to support the effective coordination of events on campus.
This role will be responsible for facilitating event planning, working closely with Campus Management and other internal departments to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review requests related to booking campus spaces for internal and external events.
* Support the coordination of event logistics, including cleaning, security, traffic control, signage, sports area permissions, and landscaping permissions.
* Manage and administer events via the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure service activities are undertaken within identified timelines, performance standards, and KPI/benchmarks.
* Facilitate internal events such as open days, orientation week, and exam room setup, in addition to external events like fun runs, local festivals, and Xmas carols.
* Maintain inventory control over Facilities Storage areas.
* Manage and process volume work requests, developing costings lists for event booking charges and contractors.
Requirements for Success:
* Pleasant and welcoming personality with a high standard of personal presentation.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with people at all levels in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner.
* Computer literacy with experience in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft-related programs.
* Tertiary education and qualifications in relevant industry or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge, and experience.
* Take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames.
