Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and able to work well under supervision.
* Conduct routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
* Maintain thorough records of actions taken;
* Test and maintain aircraft safety equipment;
* Repair and replace mechanical components and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;
The essential requirements include:
* 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);
* Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics);
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
* Strong team player;
* Ability to follow supervisory direction;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
* Passion for safe work practices;
* Valid work visa;
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
* Current Australian Driver's licence.
Shifts will be primarily Monday to Friday day shifts, with some possible early/late & night shifts.
