This is particularly prevalent within the Field Sales Organisation. The Field Sales Team is responsible for ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience anywhere Apple products are sold across our Channel Retail partners; including Consumer Electronic and Carrier Stores. How our customers experience our products in all aspects of the shopping journey is critical to our success and growth. This includes facilitating great sales conversations directly to Apple customers, enabling our Partner sellers to confidently speak about Apple and our ecosystem, merchandising partner stores to provide the very best experience and executing sales offers and new product launches across Australia and New Zealand. As the Business Development Lead within the Field Sales Team you will be focused on build the analysis, strategy and execution to support our Field team each day. This person is responsible for driving the business development, planning and growth initiatives of the Field Teams. This position can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Description
Lead Business development strategies for the Field Organisation. This would include; Collaborating closely with the Field Sales Leader to distill the Field strategy to clear business outcomes and initiatives. Strong focus on growth strategies, including looking at opportunities and initiatives to grow productivity per store, grow focused LOBs, shorten upgrade cycles and grow device-attach opportunities. Coordinate with Field Sales Leaders, other Programs and Leadership Teams on core priorities and key information required to optimise the Field Sales Teams. Work closely with Account Managers and leadership to support growth initiatives as relevant to each partner organisation. Collaborate and gather best practices and successes from other Geos and look to develop and localise as relevant to the ANZ market. Monitor and develop key Data Analysis, Data Visualisation and Territory Mapping to articulate and inform business strategy decisions. This would include: - Maintain key Field Sales reports that can be utilised both within the Field Organisation and other cross-functional teams. - Ongoing analysis of key aspects of the business, like traffic per door, daily, weekly and quarterly trends by partner, POS location and LOB. Communicates the findings and results in a coordinated, timely and easily digestible way. - Make informed decisions based on the data; including field mapping and prioritizations of locations. - Collaborates cross-functionally across the organisation and with our partners by working closely with cross-functional teams who need to interact with the field, ensure strong understanding and partnership between the organisations. - Has a strong knowledge and empathy to understand the motivations of Field Teams and partner. - Works closely with the Field Teams to ensure operational efficiencies are maintained and feedback is heard and used to improve.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a business development or sales focused role; Channel, Retail or Field Support experience preferred
* Demonstrated success in process design and implementation
* Proven business development and strategy implementation skills, including ability to implement strategies through others.

* Comfort working with large amounts of complex data sets
* Strong understanding of scalable sale initiatives and activities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong sense of teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to work effectively with other teams, influence without authority, and take others on the journey
* Passion for the customer experience, self-motivation, and the ability to operate with a great sense of urgency under limited direction and extremely tight timelines
Ability to drive progress under an immense degree of ambiguity and be comfortable working in an unstructured environment
