Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 185 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region – Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region – Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region – Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the Role
A lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, new and innovative ways to a diverse range of clients. Lecturers will also be involved in the provision of consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients.
Responsibilities
* Teach and facilitate learning across various delivery methods
* Conduct assessment and provide feedback to learners
* Develop and implement industry‐based training packages
* Provide consultancy, information, and promotional services to industry and community stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (or equivalent Diploma‐level qualification in adult or vocational education)
* At least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position with an ability to facilitate and encourage learning
* Minimum VET credentials: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110) or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019, or TAESS00024)
* Candidates who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials must be enrolled and make satisfactory progress to complete the credential within two years from commencement
* Australian or Australian equivalent qualification(s) may be required; overseas qualifications can be assessed by the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU)
