The opportunity:
CSR are seeking a proactive and analytical Finance Business Partner - Operations based in Somersby to provide financial insight and support across factory operations, including secondary processing for defects. This role is integral to ensuring accurate reporting, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare financial and non-financial data for monthly results, budgets, and forecasts.
* Ensure integrity of factory ledgers (P&L and Balance Sheets) within your area of responsibility.
* Assist with financial analysis, including production costs and plant efficiency.
* Support the standard costing process and coordinate stocktake activities.
* Conduct risk and control assessments, particularly around stock procedures.
* Contribute to business systems projects impacting factory operations.
* Drive continuous improvement in finance processes.
* Identify, engage, and report benefits aligned with World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in financial and/or management accounting, including analysis and reporting (manufacturing or supply chain preferred).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.
* Proficient in accounting software and spreadsheets (SAP & PowerBI experience highly regarded).
* Exposure to continuous improvement programs such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or World Class Manufacturing.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
* Experience in the manufacturing, building, or construction industry (preferred).
