WesTrac is seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Supervisor to join our Kalgoorlie team on a full‑time basis. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this pivotal role owns the end‑to‑end customer experience across service, repair, and maintenance activities for our Caterpillar® equipment fleet.
As a key leader in our aftermarket operations, you will ensure safe, high‑quality service delivery while coordinating an engaged team of technicians across the Kalgoorlie Goldfields region. Your ability to plan, communicate, and build strong customer relationships will directly influence our success.
Location: Kalgoorlie
Roster: 9 days on 5 days off 12.5‑hour days (including meal break)
About the Role:
* Lead and support a team of 15+ Field Service Technicians
* Oversee workforce coordination, daily field operations, workflow, and resource planning
* Provide technical guidance and ensure safe, efficient maintenance delivery
* Maintain strong, proactive relationships with customers to drive repeat business
* Champion safety, quality, continuous improvement, and team development
* Manage WIP, reporting, and service outcomes to meet operational targets
What You’ll Bring:
* HD trade qualification and mechanical supervisory experience (OEM experience desirable)
* Proven leadership in a similar industry, with the ability to coach and motivate for high performance
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to issue clear direction in high‑risk environments
* Solid understanding of OH&S and risk management practices
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Experience managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Excellent customer‑facing capability and professional presentation
* High computer literacy (MS Office, SAP) and competency with Caterpillar systems such as SIS, CAT Inspect, Texada, and DBS
* Exceptional time management, planning, and organisational skills
