As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Mechatronics Engineer who wants to build a hands-on career in robotics and industrial automation.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our engineering team and gain real-world experience designing, building and commissioning automation solutions. You will work alongside senior mechanical, electrical and controls engineers across a wide range of projects—from robotic palletising systems to custom machinery and conveyors.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, development and testing of robotic and automated systems
* Support mechanical and electrical design tasks (CAD modelling, layouts, documentation)
* Work with PLCs, cobots and industrial robots during setup and commissioning
* Contribute to R&D activities and continuous improvement initiatives
* Participate in onsite installation, troubleshooting and client support
* Prepare technical documents, drawings and reports

About You
We're looking for a motivated engineer who is eager to learn, take ownership and be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
You will have:
* A degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Robotics Engineering (required)
* A strong interest in robotics, automation, and hands-on engineering
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to work onsite with clients when required
* Full Australian working rights
* Australian Drivers License
Bonus (not essential):
* Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software
* Exposure to PLCs and Codesys etc
* Any internship, project or thesis related to automation
