About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and talented Assistant F&B Manager to join the team at Rydges Sydney Airport. You'll bring energy, talent, and a guest‐focused mindset while assisting the F&B Manager to lead and motivate the F&B team. Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets across the hotel.
Responsibilities
* 2+ years of experience in Assistant or Senior F&B Manager role within high-volume venue. Hotel experience preferable but not essential.
* Ability to deliver an excellent guest experience, focusing on service and team execution.
* Assisted in managing a medium sized F&B team, with a focus on developing and training staff.
* Maintain accurate stock control, cellar organisation, and efficient beverage inventory management.
* Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and F&B Manager on menus, seasonal updates, and activations.
* Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, RSA requirements, and health & safety standards.
* Uphold the hotels grooming, presentation, and service‐style standards.
* Participate actively in team briefings, training sessions, and operational meetings.
* An understanding of budget management, cost control, and P&L analysis for data-driven decision-making.
