Light disability services is seeking dedicated Female Support Worker to join our compassionate team in Mandurah WA. As a casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and lead fulfilling lives. What you'll be doing
* Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Providing companionship and social engagement to promote the wellbeing and independence of our clients
* Implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client
* Reporting any changes in client's condition or needs to the care team
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards
* Collaborating with the wider care team to ensure seamless service delivery
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar care-oriented role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable mindset
* Commitment to upholding the dignity, privacy, and rights of our clients
* Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
* A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
