The Role
You'll manage your own files end-to-end - residential, commercial & industrial and strata title settlements across WA. This isn't a production line. You'll own the client relationship from first contact through to keys in hand, with the autonomy to run your workflow and the support to handle complex matters when needed.
Your day-to-day will include
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, special conditions, and understanding building/pest clauses and inspection reports
* Conducting title searches and working through strata plans, notifications, by-laws, caveats, easements, and other title encumbrances
* Preparing settlement documentation, preparing and adjusting settlement statements with ability to explain the process clearly to clients with all their questions and emails from start to finish
* You will coordinate with real estate agents, banks, brokers, and clients to ensure smooth settlements
* Calculating pro-rata adjustments (rates, water, strata, land tax) and managing funds through to PEXA and completion
* Identifying and resolving discrepancies early
* Keeping clients informed with clear, proactive communication
* Handling complex matters including deceased estates, family law court orders, strata titled properties, and off-the-plan transactions
What You'll Need
Experience: 2–5 years' conveyancing experience in WA. You know the local landscape and how to navigate it.
Systems: PEXA, Realtime or SettsPlus, Office 365, DocuSign, Landgate, Scantek, RevenueWA, ATO, REIWA Forms. Experience across these will set you up for success.
Mindset: Detail-oriented, process-driven, and client-focused. You take pride in your work and genuinely enjoy guiding people through what's often the biggest transaction of their lives.
