Heathgate Resources is seeking a proactive and detail‐driven Safety Training Advisor to join our team at the Beverley Mine Site. Reporting to the Senior Safety Advisor, this role is responsible for ensuring personnel across site maintain the required training, competencies and compliance—supporting a safe, efficient and high‐performing operation. About the Role
As the site Safety Training Advisor, you will manage our Learning Management System and associated training processes to ensure all employees remain fully compliant with mandatory site training, licences and competencies. Working closely with supervisors, internal departments, contractors and training providers, you will coordinate training needs, monitor compliance, and support continuous improvement across site training programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, maintain and continuously improve the Electronic Learning Management System ensuring all employee competencies and compliance records are accurate and current
* Determine training requirements for all departments and roles and liaise with supervisors and employees to confirm mandatory training needs
* Source and coordinate accredited training providers
* Support apprentices and trainees to ensure they meet their training obligations
* Prepare clear, accurate reports, tables and data visualisations using Excel and PowerPoint
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Possesses a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Has a background or studies related to training management systems, IT systems, or learning & development in the mining or resources industry
* Experienced in the use of LMS or safety systems such as INX or DoneSafe
* Has a strong safety mindset, with understanding of WHS and environmental obligations
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical thinking
* Clear, written and verbal communication
* Is committed to quality, continuous improvement and collaboration
