Paxus are partnering with a large corporate client within the professional services sector who are currently undertaking a significant technology uplift across the organisation. A key focus as part of this transformation initiative, is to establish a high performing Project Delivery Practice within the organisation.
Role/Responsibility
As the Delivery Capability Manager, you will be responsible for leading the project delivery practice within the organisation's Technology branch. You will lead a multi-disciplined team and establish delivery standards to be rolled out across all projects. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Transforming and leading delivery practice functions across all Digital and Technology delivery teams to achieve consistent, continuous, quality delivery, with a focus on strategic alignment, customer value and a maximised flow.
2. Establishing and improving the maturity of these functions.
3. Ensure consistency of stakeholder experience through the delivery practices and work models to ensure clarity for the organisation on how we work.
4. Integrating the delivery practices across the enterprise with a keen focus on continuous improvement and right-sized governance.
5. Ensure alignment with the enterprise opportunity and portfolio lifecycle defined by the Enterprise PMO and champion improvements.
6. Championing the agile software development processes and delivery ways of working by coaching. and mentoring the delivery teams and promoting the use of standards and best practices.
Skills/Experience
7. Previous experience within leading program teams within an agile environment
8. Experience in developing strategies to improve customer experience, drive operational efficiencies, improve processes, and generally adopt a spirit of continuous improvement.
9. Proven experience in developing delivery capability and maturing ways of working within large complex transformation environments
10. Leadership experience in dynamic and complex change environments, including leading teams through change and dealing with ambiguity.
