Accounts Payable Specialist

The role of an Accounts Payable Clerk is crucial in ensuring smooth financial transactions and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. As an essential member of the finance team, you will be responsible for:
* Verifying and coding supplier invoices accurately.
* Obtaining invoice approval from relevant department managers.
* Reconciling statements to ensure financial accuracy.
* Paying suppliers/creditors invoices on a timely basis.
* Maintaining effective communication with internal staff and external suppliers.
To excel in this position, you must have:
* Able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
* Minimum 2 years experience in accounts payable or related field.
* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
* Excellent time management ability.
* Strong administration skills.
* Exceptional communication skills to build strong working relationships.
* Familiarity with Motor Dealership systems is highly regarded.
