ROLE OVERVIEW
The Designer / Draftsperson is responsible for the development and modification of Davimac/Agrowplow products. This role is offered for full-time or part-time hours with onsite and work-from-home flexibility. Duties include but are not limited to:
* Defining design brief, machine intention and limitations.
* Concept generation and development.
* Design detailing and drafting.
* Generating production documentation, including: Assembly InstructionsPart Number allocation and BOM development in Cin7 Core (DEAR Inventory)
* Process specific files (E.g. profile cutting lists and DXFs)
* Supplier files (E.g. Laser Bend Weld, Auspring)
* Spare Parts Manuals and Machine Operator Manuals.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Experience using Solidworks software and CAD tools
* Previous experience in Industrial design or mechanical engineering.
* Demonstrate analytical thinking along with practical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and improve production methods.
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic and communication skills
* Excellent Leadership skills.
* Excellent Interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
* Excellent organisational and follow-up skills.
* Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning and decision making.
* Sound time management skills.
