About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Future Student Advisor to join our Future Student Curtin Connect Advisory Team. This position provides a frontline course advisory service to future students at Curtin University. In this role, you will ensure that prospective students receive quality advice and assistance in relation to the range of courses and programs offered by Curtin.
You can look forward to setting up our prospective students for success through shaping their educational journey, as you nurture applicants throughout the entire process – anywhere from enquiry to enrolment. You will also have the opportunity to participate in unique marketing events to promote the distinct Curtin experience.
This position would be well suited towards a dedicated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
This role is a full-time, fixed term contract until 05 March 2027 with a salary range between $83,283 - $91,103 (G05) per annum.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Be the go-to contact for prospective student queries relating to course information, entry requirements, alternative pathways, admissions, enrolment, scholarships, and fees. As well as managing and triaging these enquiries efficiently and effectively to ensure successful outcomes
* Maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders such as University Marketing, Domestic Admissions, and Faculty staff
* Support marketing campaigns and assist with targeting specific audiences through service delivery and outreach, including supporting and promoting student recruitment events
We are looking for (selection criteria):
* Completion of degree; or completion of a diploma with considerable relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Demonstrated experience in customer service delivery and a personal commitment to continually achieving a high level of client satisfaction
* Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage own work activities and priorities to meet work area requirements and deadlines
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to use discretion and knowledge to determine appropriate actions
* Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills with ability to construct documentation and articulate information clearly and professionally
Role Requirements:
1. As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
2. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction
3. This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check
