Your Role:
As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive resident experience in providing a person-centred approach to care. You will foster a collaborative approach in supporting our residents with all aspects of their daily needs and emotional wellbeing, essentially creating what we believe will enable older people to live their best lives. Duties Include:
* Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
* Personal care, including but not limited to: Personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care and continence care.
* Mobility, including using aids and falls prevention.
* Eating and drinking, including awareness of special dietary requirements.
* Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams.

Our 63-room aged care home offers a warm, professional, and well-maintained environment for both residents and staff. Resthaven is thoughtfully designed to support quality care delivery. Staff enjoy working in a purpose-built setting featuring bay windows, garden views, and modern amenities including individually controlled air-conditioning. The home also features spacious communal lounge and dining areas, supporting a collaborative and comfortable workplace.
To Be Successful You Will Need
* A Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying) - MANDATORY
* NDIS Worker Clearance – MANDATORY
* Valid working rights in Australia– MANDATORY
* Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting
* A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Compassionate and Empathetic nature
