Your Role
Your Role
Lead complex transactions in a nationally recognised finance team. We’re looking for a Senior Associate with 5+ years’ experience to join our dynamic Banking & Finance team in Melbourne. You’ll take a leading role in advising lenders and borrowers on sophisticated financing arrangements — from traditional bank lending to private credit and emerging funding structures. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile matters within a collaborative national team. You’ll enjoy a diverse mix of transactions and benefit from clear pathways for career progression.
About You
We’re keen to hear from lawyers who bring:
- 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in banking and finance, ideally from a leading commercial law or professional services firm
- Strong technical drafting skills and confident communication
- An eye for detail and an understanding of the practical and legal aspects that impact transaction structures
- Proven ability to guide clients through complex decisions with commercial insight
- A client-first mindset and the ability to build lasting relationships across the industry
- A collaborative and collegial approach, with enthusiasm for mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development
