Mint Airconditioning is looking for a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant / Labourer to support our installation team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job properly, and wants to be part of a team that values hard work, reliability, and a positive attitude.
You’ll be assisting our installers on a range of air conditioning projects, helping keep jobs running smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone wanting to gain experience in the trade, learn from an experienced team, and build a long-term career in the industry.
For the right candidate, this position can also become a gateway into an apprenticeship, making it a great opportunity for someone serious about building a future in air conditioning.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assisting the installation team with air conditioning installs
* Carrying and preparing tools, materials, and equipment
* Helping with site setup and pack-up
* General labouring and manual handling
* Keeping worksites clean, organised, and safe
* Supporting tradesmen with day-to-day installation tasks
* Following instructions and working as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Positive attitude and team-first mindset
* Ability to follow direction and use initiative
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
* White Card preferred
* Driver’s licence preferred
* Experience in construction, labouring, or air conditioning is an advantage, but not essential
