About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will contribute to the delivery of timely, accurate and reliable financial reporting across all business units. This position plays an integral role in analysing results, supporting decision-making, and fostering strong business partnerships throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports
Provide analysis and commentary on business unit performance against financial plans and budgets
Partner with key stakeholders to deliver financial insights that support operational and strategic decisions
Assist branches and the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
Identify and implement opportunities for process and system improvements
Support the Finance Manager and wider team with various financial projects as required
Qualifications
3-5 years' experience in a similar management accounting role
CA or CPA qualification (or working towards) desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Clear and confident communication, with the ability to partner effectively across departments
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting
A proactive, professional and positive approach to work
The ability to lead and motivate others in a team environment

Salary: A$80,000 – A$90,000
