Urban Design Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and grow our Urban Design Practice in Sydney, combining leadership, commercial acumen, client relationship management, and technical ability to drive growth.
The successful candidate will help integrate urban design thinking, theory, and practice into multi-disciplinary projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Architects, and Design Leads.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering urban design projects and an established industry network, particularly within New South Wales. They will be able to develop business opportunities through trusted client relationships and winning repeat work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and growing the Urban Design Practice for multi-disciplinary placemaking and infrastructure projects.
* Integrating urban design thinking, theory, and practice into multi-disciplinary projects.
* Managing and being accountable for urban design deliverables across infrastructure and design projects.
* Providing technical leadership and mentorship to developing urban design practitioners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Design, or related field, with 10+ years of experience.
* Extensive experience delivering urban design projects and an established industry network.
* Ability to develop business opportunities through trusted client relationships and winning repeat work.
