Millwarra Primary School is a multi-site school situated in a semi-rural area in the Upper Yarra Valley, 70 kilometres from Melbourne. It is the only dual campus Primary School in the North‐Eastern Victoria Region. This enables flexibility of staff, which is critical in the provision of specialist programs. Students have access to resources from both campuses. The two school sites, one at Millgrove and the other at Warburton East, are approximately nine kilometres apart, with the township of Warburton in between. The school administration is centred at the Millgrove site.

The current total enrolment of the school is 46, with 21 students at Warburton East and 25 students at the Millgrove campus.

The school provides a balanced, comprehensive curriculum across the key learning areas including an integrated approach to curriculum planning and delivery, to benefit our student¿s academic strengths. We maintain an important focus on our student¿s well‐being.

Specialist teachers provide programs across both campuses. We have Visual Art, Physical Education, Library, Auslan, Drumming and Respectful Relationships sessions. Special assistance is provided to students through the Program for Students with Disabilities. All curriculum programs and administration, are supported and enhanced by the latest development in learning technologies and digital learning. All students from Grades 2 to 6, have access to their own school laptops, and the junior students have access to laptops and PCs.

To support the curriculum areas, enrichment programs are provided in: Camps, inter‐school sports, sports clinics, school production, junior sleepover, cooking classes, cyber safety sessions, intergenerational engagement, private music lessons, Electives, Bike Ed, Ben¿s Shed Woodworking, National Reconciliation Week events, First Aid In Schools for students, and many more sporting and other activities. Our campuses have their own sets of school bikes for students to use.

Student academic, sporting and personal achievements are formally acknowledged at our fortnightly assemblies. The school incorporates the Values program into the school¿s operations.

Millwarra Primary School has spacious, attractive and well‐maintained grounds and modern play equipment at both sites, with modern classrooms at both campuses.

Millgrove has a modern administration building and the office at Warburton East is within the current classroom building. The Warburton East building has been set up to be used as a Community Fire Refuge. Both campuses have 4 modern classrooms, Libraries and Art rooms.
