The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is a comprehensive, sophisticated central corporate services agency that undertakes a unified enterprise-wide approach to delivering corporate and digital services to Northern Territory Government (NTG) agencies.
DCDD's Agency Procurement Services provides centralised procurement advisory and support services in accordance with their Service Statement, NTG Procurement Framework and Buy Local Policy. Services include advice and support in the preparation of tender and contract documentation, procurement assessments, contract award and contract management advice.
Currently, there are several vacancies for experienced Procurement Advisors in the Darwin team.
As a Procurement Advisor (AO6), you will provide advice and assistance to client agencies to enable informed decision to be made based on sound procurement principles whilst ensuring compliance with the NTG Procurement Framework. Your key duties involve providing operational support, guidance and advice on all aspects of the procurement function, preparing procurement tender and quotation documents and assisting clients to undertake procurement assessments.
In addition, your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills along with your ability to work collaboratively and constructively will assist clients achieve effective and efficient procurement processes and outcomes.
Well-developed written skills with the ability to prepare procurement documentation to a high standard for and in collaboration with clients.
Completion or progress towards completion of a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting or relevant qualifications will be well received.
